About the Maker
Kanti Patel has been involved with musical instruments and their construction for his entire life. In addition to making bansuri he has also been very much involved in the construction of many other instruments - including the harmonium (Indian pump organ) and the sarangi (Hindustani bowed instrument). This has given him a broader perspective into the craft of instrument making and it shows very much in every bansuri that he creates.
